Partnerships
CPC partners with C4 (Colesville Council of Community Congregations) by donating toys for the Christmas Toy Closet and through funding of the school supplies project that provides over 700 backpacks to Montgomery County students each fall.

CPC is one of GMCH's latest Partners in Harmony, joining numerous area congregations that champion equality and welcome, enfold, and celebrate LGBTQ+ persons.

Christmas Bags
A highlight of the holiday season is our partnership with Montgomery County Child Welfare Services to provide Christmas gifts for children in foster care. We deliver bundles of wrapped gifts as well as gift cards for those children who were not on anyone’s shopping list.

School Partnerships
Each year CPC donates to two area high schools—Paint Branch and Springbrook—to support homeless students. These funds provide for emergency needs and also to enable students to participate in school activities such as sports, music, and field trips that they normally could not afford.
Weekend Bags
During the school year, volunteers assemble “backpacks” of food for students to take home for weekend meals. Each week over 100 bags are delivered to two elementary schools—William Tyler Page and Flora Singer.

CPC is excited to host this community children's chorus for children ages 5½-10, directed by Dr. Ingrid Lestrud. For more information about auditions, rehearsals and performances, please check the website.

We have continued to support international efforts to bring clean water to areas without access to water. Initial efforts were in the Cameroon and in the Philippines. Currently we are in partnership with Water for People and support their water projects in Malawi.
